Christine and Malcolm welcome you to our beautiful, friendly home offering bed and breakfast accommodation, in the attractive Wiltshire village of Kington St Michael. We provide excellent facilities business including WiFi, for tourists, time to explore, a time for family values. We enjoy catering for indivual needs including dietrary requirements.

Give yourself time and space to relax. Sitting quietly in what was the grounds of Kington Manor, Arch House is surrounded by a working farm, Wiltshire countryside and St Michael’s Church, a location for Tess of the D'Urbervilles. A full traditional English breakfast is served at guest’s convenience. We aim to use organic, Fairtrade and locally sourced products as well as home produced jams, honey and produce from our allottment. We enjoy catering for special diets eg. Gluten-free and vegetarian.

Visitors To Bath

Bath is the fourteenth most visited city in the world. When staying at Arch House it is a 10 minute frequent train service to the city centre. Stress-free with free parking near Chippenham station. Alternatively take a pleasant rural drive of 20 minutes to Landsdown Park and Ride Scheme. Benefit from the advice of Malcolm, an official guide, where to go, what to see, and background history. Walking and Cycling

Give your car a rest, use one of our cycles and enjoy the numerous cycle routes in the area. There are many local footapaths for gentle walking in attractive Wiltshire countryside or the more challenging Cotswold Way National Trail can be accessed at Bath. We have lots of information including maps, books and leaflets for our guests to use.

Car Free Days Out

It is easy to explore by public transport; so relax and enjoy a break from driving. There is an frequent train service to Bath and Bristol. Frequent bus services are throughout the region including Cirencester in the Cotswolds and Swindon. Express bus and train services provide fast links to London. Tickets may be purchased through Chippenham Tourist Information Centre 01249 665970. We have timestables available for guests. There is a limited bus service between Kington St Michael to Chippenham

Directions
M4 J. 17 A350 towards Chippenham. Dual carriageway, 2 miles righ
t turn to Kington St Michael. After 1/2 mile as you enter the village, turn left by the telephone box . Drive past village hall and shop. Directly ahead, 50 yards, are open gates to Kington Manor. Drive through gates turning immediately right between the tall yew hedges. Arch House is in front of you.
